Panel selection will take place on Saturday, September 19, 2026, starting at 9:00 PM, and the access link will be distributed in the Telegram group. Please note that only SEMMH students who have officially registered for the SEMM4912 course are permitted to make a selection, so please choose your panel wisely.

The FYP Committee will begin the process of selecting panels for SEMMH students only. If you are from another program, please discuss with your respective FYP panel coordinator. Further information regarding the panels can be found here [click here].

SEMMH students are required to choose one of the following eight panels:

• Thermodynamics (27 students)
• Fluid Mechanics (23 students)
• Engineering Design & Computer (33 students)
• Solid Mechanics (20 students)
• Mechanisms & Machines (23 students)
• System & Control (20 students)
• Material (24 students)
• Automotive (12 students)

Students registered in AIMS for the FYP I (SEMM4912) course will be contacted via email.

Please ensure you receive an email from psm[@]mail.fkm.utm.my.

The email will specify the panel selection date for all students. Please make sure to fill out the electronic form. Panel selection is on a first-come, first-served basis. However, the FKM FYP Committee provides 3 choices. Please make the best selection and do not choose the same panel for all three choices.

For Manufacturing (SEMPH), Industrial (SEMIH), Aeronautical (SEMTH), Automotive (SEMVH) and Naval (SEMOH) students, please contact your FYP panel coordinator. You do not need to select a panel. The FYP panel coordinators can be viewed here [Click here].
