THE CHAIR AWARD
The Chair Award is a gift of excellence to students and supervisors of the Final Year Project. A competent and experienced special jury will be appointed by the Chair of the School of Mechanical Engineering to evaluate the quality of the Final Year Project produced.
Supervisors will receive certificates of appreciation while students will receive certificates of appreciation and mystery gifts. The Chair Award will be held each semester and participation is automatic. All students taking the Final Year Project course will be assessed. Students who exceed the qualifying mark limit will be assessed at the final stage.
It is hoped that with this award, supervisors and students can produce a better quality Final Year Project.
